Electronic Medical Record

Is Google working on a Electronic Medical Record System for outpatient ambulatory medical offices? The majority of systems are slow, inefficient, redundant, and do not interface well. Its  awful in outpatient primary care which usually cannot afford the supposedly better systems on market.

Thanks so much and happy holidays,

@Ramanroan You mean something that might compete with Epic?  Probably note since they just announced a partnership https://ehrintelligence.com/news/google-partnership-makes-epic-ehr-workload-available-on-google-clou... -KAM

Google's Cloud Healthcare API supports the FHIR standard for storing healthcare data. So you might be able to leverage that service to build out a custom solution.

Is there a company that can help new healthcare practices integrate into the system?  I am the owner of a practice opening in the next three weeks and I am not signing up for the rediculous EMR's that are currently popular.  I have used allscripts and cerner in the past and got through the configuration of eClinicalworks before deciding that it was a giant headache.  I need a HIPPA compliant system with minimal functionality-just the basics (secure data storage, inventory tracking, billing, and possibly e-prescribing).  I use Doximety for telehealth and I am a solo practice Gynecologist (concierge medical care plus aesthetics.)
