I have encountered a significant issue while using Google Forms. The file upload option works perfectly when the form is created on my personal Google Drive, but it becomes unavailable when I create the form on a Shared Drive.
It is crucial for our organization that files uploaded by respondents through Google Forms are saved directly on the companyโs Shared Drive. However, this is currently not possible, and I am forced to use my personal drive to store these files. This contradicts the purpose of having a corporate Shared Drive. Why did I purchase a Shared Drive if I canโt store files from forms there?
Additionally, I spent over 3 hours trying to identify the root cause of this problem. There is no clear notification or warning anywhere stating that the file upload functionality is not supported for forms created on Shared Drives. This lack of communication wastes usersโ time and creates unnecessary frustration.
