Gmail API fails with PRECONDITION check failed

Calling gmail watch API service account generated access token gives error "precondition check failed"


Enabled domain wide delegation also,with service account clientId (numeric like 111xxxxxxxxxxxx37328 )
 scopes are https://mail.google.com

please help with this
