Google Drive Block File Types

A feature that would enhance the security of Google Drive is the ability to restrict users from uploading certain file types. This would prevent students from uploading zip files that could contain malicious software or viruses. Currently, there is no way to block or filter these file types, which poses a risk to the integrity of the data stored on Google Drive. A file type restriction option would allow administrators to specify which file types are allowed or disallowed, and to enforce this policy across all users and folders.

To be able to block certain files or filetypes being stored on google drive. Similar to Veto files in Synologys DSM would be handy.

Specially for shared drives and macOS users .DS_Store files.

Currently, macOS offers the convenient option to disable the creation of .DS_Store files on network volumes using the DSDontWriteNetworkStores key. However, there doesn't appear to be a direct equivalent for cloud-mounted volumes accessed via the FileProvider API.

I believe it would greatly benefit macOS users to have the option to prevent the creation of .DS_Store files on shared Google Drives,
