My App for gmail is in the marketplace. As far as I can tell, nothing about that is using any cloud services.
I never signed up for any "free trial" stuff, and I never clicked "activate" on any offers.
I am getting worrying email warnings from "google cloud platform" (no idea what that is) about my trial running out, and telling me to upgrade (doesn't mention what I have to upgrade, or why, or what for, or how much, or anything).
I've posted multiple questions about his on multiple forums (no responses at all).
I've attempted to contact billing support (impossible - despite claims that this exists for "trial" people, it does not in fact exist at all - every link goes to a place telling you that you can contact support, but none of them lead to any actual contact forms or other methods - just recursive links).
I tried contacting "sales", but they have no clue about what google offers (annoyingly, "workspace" is something small businesses can buy to get email on their domain - so uttering that word to sales in connection with developers shipping add-ons leads to endless confusion).
HELP !!!!!!!
Is there *anyone* at google who reads these things? Please fix your system so "trial" users can reach someone in billing to work out what, if anything, we're supposed to be buying!!!
Do Apps (gmail add-ons) in the marketplace, which use external non-google servers, need to pay for something?
@cnd This is a forum for fellow Google Workspace administrators so to answer your question if Google reads these posts, the answer is "most likely not".
What add-on for Gmail are you using?
