Live Transcription in Google Meet API -urgent

Is it possible to use the Google Meet API to live transcribe audio or an audio stream as the meeting progresses? For example, if a participant says "Hello there," can the transcription be fetched in real time using the API, rather than at the end of the meeting?

@mohduvesh043 I don't know about the API but the record / transcription service can do this as well as the meet captions in real-time.  See https://support.google.com/meet/answer/10964115?hl=en-IE and note you need the Gemini Workspace add-on for this. -KAM

No, transcripts are currently after the fact. There are some features being considered that might enable this in the future, but nothing concrete right now. Suggest joining the Workspace Developer Preview Program to keep up to date and get early access to new features as they become available.
