Hi,
This is Hari, need help in transferring the bulk of data (maybe each folder ~10TB ) I tried transferring folder by folder. But I can see data is not being fully transferred from my drive to share drive, there are some leftovers at the origin, I tried contacting chat support and they assist me via screen-sharing session. They too could not help as currently google doesn't have an option to view folder size and they too were unable to find a solution for this data loss. can please assist me?

@harialencherry We are a group of fellow admins so we can't view a Google chat or help on something where Google has identified a bug.
For data transfer like this, I would typically look at tools to do this. How are you moving the data?

+1 to what @KAM said, but two ideas:
1) By any chance are the files that are being left behind when you move a folder to a Shared Drive owned by an account thatโs not a part of your Workspace instance? If so, the people that own those files/folders will need to be the ones that move them. For example, if youโre example1.com, you canโt move files/folders owned by people in example2.com or gmail.com to a Shared Drive.
2) There are limits to how much you can store in/move to a Shared Drive โ see https://support.google.com/a/answer/7338880?hl=en for those details.
3) Check out the free, open source, command-line, indispensable GAM tool to allow you to do more reporting on your storage (for example listing the complete contents of a folder tree). Check out https://github.com/jay0lee/GAM/wiki, https://github.com/taers232c/GAMADV-XTD3/wiki, and https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/google-apps-manager for more details.
Hope that helps, at least a little,
Ian
