Google Forms Switch account and submit response

Hello,

We have an education workspace account and we regularly send out forms for parents/students to fill and submit. Most of our students have siblings and all siblings are logged into their school email accounts simultaneously on the same device. So when 1 student submits a google form, the only options available to the student after submitting the form is 'Edit your response' when the form allows editing after submission. Only when editing is not allowed does the form provide the option of 'Submit a New Response'. Is there any option where, when editing the form after submission is allowed, there is an option to 'Switch account and submit a new response' so that another sibling can submit a response from the same device? If not, is there a possibility that something like this could be introduced?

Thank you.

In the Settings of the form:

  • Turn OFF Collect email addresses (then it won't matter if a student is logged into their own profile or not... you can add a question to the form to collect the email address of the participant.)
  • Turn OFF Limit to one response (this will then give the option to submit another response.)

Hello,

Thank you for your response. We've tried doing this but we face problems when trying to implement these solutions.

  • When collect email addresses is turned off, responders are not sent a copy of their response. This causes disputes later with students / parents saying that their response was not what we have on record.
  • When limit to one response is turned off, students tend to submit the form more than once coz they've forgotten that they've submitted it or they want to change their response and instead of editing, they submit again or just to fool around.

We are a K-12 school and dealing with these kids is a lot different from dealing with kids in college.
