Dear Google Drive Support Team and Engineers,
I am writing to you with great disappointment as a consumer and IT professional that I have been experiencing a recent technical issue with Google Drive and Microsoft One Drive.
The technical issues were to do with the settings and send the verification code to my secondary email address, a google email address.
I am an Apple user, and I use MacBook Pro. I know that all Mac users have to update their Mac Operating system software to operate and function effectively. It is highly disappointing that Google and Microsoft arenโt advanced in their technical ability in interlinking all communication and vice versa in getting everything implemented by the relevant technical engineering teams developers before any OS update becomes available to the public.
I have lost out on a good solid week of work, as I do work from home as my role is the Health and Safety Officer for my church in also assisting in dealing with our COVID19 response with my Senior Pastor and the Church Governance Board. I have to spend my time every day of the week to re-config the settings and ensure that there are no tech issues before I can do my work remotely in an efficient manner.
Overall, I know that there are a lot of Apple customers that are highly appalled with this tech issue and are waiting for your to get it resolved. Lastly, the Apple technical team is aware of these issues because customers have been calling in, and they have advised all their customers to try to contact your to get it resolved.
It would be great to resolve this ongoing tech issue once and for all and ensure that no other customers will have to face this issue when there is a Mac OS update in the near future. It would be great for all communications by the three major tech companies (Apple, Google, and Microsoft) to prevent this issue from happening. Significantly, all communications to be interlinked will not have this tech issue when the Mac OS update is available; any tech issue will not occur.
Most importantly, your relevant technical engineers should have prevented it and developers from constantly contacting Apple to ensure that if they release any updates, you will be aware of it and that everything will not be affected in the future.
It would be great for you to be fully aware of this current technical issue, as we are highly fed up and cannot catch up with our workload because of this blunder tech issue.
My google account is my church account, which is given to me because of my role as the Health and safety officer.
I have submitted my feedback as per what you have mentioned below.
It would be great if you could urgently rectify your server to cope with this latest update of Monterey, version 12.2, for all Mac users.
Attached are the screenshots of the error I received for my Google Drive and One Drive.
It would be great if this error could urgently be resolved for the recent Mac OS update of "Monterey".
May I ask if there are any known server issues that other customers and I arenโt aware of? If so, it would be great if everyone could be notified about it.
Lastly, may I ask what further suggestions you could help me with to rectify this issue urgently?
Thank you for being so understanding.
Hi there! If you require immediate help, I'd highly recommend reaching out to Workspace support. Drive for desktop is asking for permissions that should be immediately accessible through System Preferences. Support can walk you through this.
Hi JC,
Thank you for your reply.
I'm sorry for not replying to you earlier.
A technician from Ubertec in Auckland has helped me resolve the concern issue. It would have been great if Google could time it well to get all google applications to be updated at the same time without any technical issues with the Apple OS update or so.
Thank you.
