Absent Student Reporting

Hi,
The DFE has recently produced new guidance for students absent due to mental health needs. This guidance sees a change in practice that means as a school it must set remote work for them. It also requires them to monitor their interaction with this work (in this case via Classroom) so that they can accurately record their "attendance" whilst not onsite.

Apart from exporting Classroom data to BigQuery and creating dashboards in Looker, has anyone found any other ways of dealing with this requirement?
