Adding users to the relevant Google Group for app access is a slow process

We typically use Google Groups to grant access to Google applications (app that use SAML access).

Usually, We add a user to the associated group and a few seconds/minutes later, the user has access.

However, for the past few weeks, this process has been extremely slow, sometimes taking several hours.

Google support says it can take up to 24 hours, and as long as it doesn't exceed 24 hours, they won't do anything about it (and have closed our ticket).

This delay is severely impacting production access to applications.

Is there any workaround to speed up the process?
Are you also experiencing this issue?

Yes, I have had it creep up here and there where the 24-hour wait comes up and we just have to wait for what seems an eternity for what is effectively a small IAM change.

If it's highly production impacting and it's an onboarding issue, just off the cuff thinking here, could you have a user created and added to the group sort of like in the batters circle?  So like create a user like ondeck1@mydomain.tld, add it to the group, and then rename the user when you need it?  Not sure if that would trigger the same delays but worth a shot.

Another idea would be to switch to a dynamic group and see if that helps https://support.google.com/a/answer/10286834?hl=en
