Good day!
Some of our Faculty were asking if we can have additional security features in the GSUITE platform that could help avoid the students screenshotting their presentation during google meetings. and could help them to avoid other students redownloading and reproducing their learning materials since it's their intellectual property.
I don't know if there is a way to prevent screenshoting just of Google Meet however on managed Chromebooks there might be a way to disable screenshots as a whole (for example, https://admx.help/?Category=ChromeOS&Policy=Google.Policies.ChromeOS::DisableScreenshots).
As for preventing downloading a presentation, the faculty member could just chose to not share that particular one with students. If they do need to share something with students, they could utilize Google Drive and set the file as view only and disable downloading (https://support.google.com/drive/answer/2494893?hl=en&ref_topic=7000947#zippy=%2Cdont-let-people-dow...).
Yet again, the answer is to educate the students rather than making the walled-garden more restrictive by removing a tool. It isn't wrong to screenshot, but there are valid intellectual property concepts to learn.
