Address registration keeps failing

Hi.  I recently subscribed to Google Voice/Workspace.  I have been trying to assign myself a phone number but every time I do it I get his error message: "Registration failed.  This service address has failed registration. Update the address in order to keep calls to this number from failing".  I have changed the way I list my location address many times to try and fix the problem and I have also tried assigning different numbers but nothing seems to work.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Thank you!

I am wondering if there is an issue on Google's side.   just tested my account and I am getting a registration pending.

"The registration for this service address is pending. If registration fails, the assigned number cannot be used."

The address I am using is an address that was already set up, and other users' numbers are assigned to it.  I tried with a new address as well and got the same message.  I've never had this happen before so it makes me think the issue is with Google.

If you haven't already, I would open up a ticket with Google support.
