Admin Account expired and former admin left company without handover

Hi @ll,

I have a problem an cannot find any suggested solutions. We used to have an admin account but it obviously expired. When I was handed over the account I now use, I was under the impression that this was the admin account but it isn't. Now I need to accept new Terms of Use for which I don't have the rights without the admin account. Since everyone who might habe an idea who the admin was have left the company, I feel I am at a dead end. How can I get help here? Ideally, the account I use should be upgraded to admin aacount.

Thanks for your help or advice how I can proceed!!

Please use any of the below forms according to your situation.

Make sure you are giving it as 'you need data backup ' if asked in any of this forms.

Hi, @TimoCom

Choose I cannot contact the administrator, and post the your account not working, and then a different non-Workspace address where Google can contact you. Do not use the Workspace address here if you can't access it. If you can access Gmail with the non-admin account, then you can use it here.

There are also three other solutions. Either should take you forward.

1. For Legacy G Suite (which used to be free) there is a new special form here.

It should make it possible to circumvent some of the issues with not having access to email of the suspended domain.

2. Reach out to Google Support on Twitter. https://twitter.com/AskWorkspace will get you a real person on the other side, with whom you can reason.

3. Temporarily redirect your MX records to somewhere you can receive the necessary emails. When you do get in touch with Support, and have regained access to your account, you can eventually point them back to Google.

Hello i have same issue.

I already to doing 3 thats step, but i have another issue

1. Domain administrator is thats people left from our company without hand over

2. Twitter support not reply my message

Check out all the various options for recovering admin access to your Google Workspace account at https://support.google.com/a/answer/33561?hl=en.

There are a number of options there including getting in touch with support as well as technical methods to prove to Google that you own your domain name and should be allowed to access the Workspace instance.

Hope that helps,

Ian
