I want to keep admin log events for only a month and remove admin log events older than one month.

It is defaulted for 6 months.

It is possible, once you are in the Reports section click in the upper right hand corner where it says View by date, see where to find it below

Additionally if it helps,  you could also filter your export query by selecting an specific OU, or per Group then you can proceed with your filters or whatever you want to get the reports for.
