Automatically jump to the next available date for appointment schedules

My company is hosting events at a conference and we need to set up appointment schedules for our clients to reserve time.  Setting up the appointment availability is easy enough.  The problem is that when a person links to the public appointment schedule, there are no available times in the immediate future; to see the open times, you need to click "Jump to the next available date" before you can see the time slots.

Is there a way to adjust the end user view so that the calendar automatically jumps forward in time to the next available date(s)?

We have the exact same issue for a similar use case. Anyone found a workaround for it?

We're still dealing with the same issue, but hoping we can get this into development if more people are having this problem.
