Hi,
I have two question:
- Is it possible to change the background color of an email? As standard, it is a white background, black letters. With a dark theme on devices, this white background when writing/reading messages is heavy on the eyes.
- Is it possible to remove the "--" sign on the signature of the message being sent? This character is not added if I send messages through a browser, but unfortunately it is already added from the Gmail application.
@Marcin_ve the "-- " is a separator for the signature portion of an email I think in this RFC: https://www.rfc-editor.org/info/rfc3676. More at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Signature_block -KAM
@KAMOk, so I assume it can't be removed.
There remains the issue of the background of the email. Does it have to be white? It is terribly irritating in dark mode.
@Marcin_ve I don't really know about the background. You can always use an alternate mail client such as Mozilla Thunderbird and configure things more granularly I'm sure. -KAM
