Hi,
Hi,
I believe you may be wondering if the "send mail as" feature would work for you as described in https://support.google.com/mail/answer/22370? So to answer your question, according to Gmail, it is possible to send emails from your Workspace account while you are in your personal @gmail.com account.
If you own another email address, you can send mail as that address. For example:
Tip: You can send emails from up to 99 different email addresses.
As for receiving Workspace emails to your Gmail account, I think that is a possibility according to https://support.google.com/mail/answer/21289 (do ensure that IMAP/POP is turned on in the Workspace account).

You can still unify your accounts into your personal gmail (receive and reply as your workspaces account from personal), but its not nearly as easy as it used to be.
1) In your workspaces account, go to Account settings -> Security -> Less secure app access and turn on. This is required because to send as your workspaces address(es) you have to enable SMTP access to the account, and although Google is trying to do away with allowing this basic authentication method, they have not provided a secure alternative in Gmail for setting up Send As.
2) (optional for setting up additional send-as aliases for your workspaces address or group email addresses) In your workspaces gmail settings, set-up "Send As" for each of the aliases/groups. This is simple as it just emails a verification code to the alias/group address
3) In personal gmail, go to settings -> accounts -> send mail as -> add another address and enter the name and workspaces address to add. Leave treat as alias checked
4) for SMTP settings, use those below from google help. Use your workspaces account as username (not the email being setup) and your password.
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server | smtp.gmail.com Requires SSL: Yes Requires TLS: Yes (if available) Requires Authentication: Yes Port for SSL: 465 Port for TLS/STARTTLS: 587 |
4) confirm the code sent
