So today I tried to create a Google account for me and my (American) friends to use as the official account of our story, which we will (hopefully) publish, and turn into an animated series. I currently am located in Russia, for personal reasons, and am using a Russian phone number. When I tried to create that account, and it got to the phone verification stage (stupid, not everyone has a phone/phone number) it let me verify, but just kept loading. Is this because of the sanctions, or something else? Please help!
