Can't login to Admin panel

Hi,

I have tried Google Workspace for my company a few month ago. To get started I used my normal gmail email address. The trial period is over now, and when I try to login with the associated email address it throws me back to email address selection, and says that I shall select an administrator account.

When I try to create a new account, it says the domain is already taken.

My guess is that the domain is still associated with an account which was deleted after the trial period.

Do you have any idea how to resolve this?

Check out all the various options for recovering admin access to your Google Workspace account at https://support.google.com/a/answer/33561?hl=en.

There are a number of options there including getting in touch with support as well as technical methods to prove to Google that you own your domain name and should be allowed to access the Workspace instance.

I've checked out the link and it seems the automated recovery could be a good starting point indeed.  Although I couldn't find a link to it on the support page (they are all internal links only) I found this in Google: https://toolbox.googleapps.com/apps/recovery/form

However, for any email addresses I've used recently it says: It appears that the account ****@****.*** is not part of *****.**.
(* are added by me, it was displaying the email address and domain correctly)
