Can't redeem Google for Startups credits for Google Workspace

Has anybody else had problems redeeming the Google for Startups 12-month credit for free business plan on Google Workspace?

I got an email on June 27th that we're eligible and that we can sign up with a Google Form. I've submitted info and followed up and have not yet been granted the discount to this day.

I'm currently stuck in a support loop:

1. Reached out to Google workspace support - they claim Google Cloud team offers this so they can't help. Agent told me to ask again Cloud support.

2. Then reached out to Google Cloud support and the support chat blocks me from getting an agent because my google cloud is in free trial.

Yes that's how it's supposed to be I just received google cloud credits from Google that I want to spend first. So now I have no way of contacting billing support to get this resovled.

Any advice here would be helpful as we're still getting billed.

@azvonar I am guessing a bit but I believe those credits apply to the Google Cloud Platform and not to Google Workspace instances.  Two separate products/divisions at Google.  Are you sure you have credits that can be applied to Workspace?  -KAM

Yes, I'm sure. Google sent me an email saying:

Google Workspace discounts*. Get 12 months of Business Plus seats for new** Google Workspace accounts for all your productivity and team collaboration needs. Apply here .

I've even filled out a form to redeem this Workspace credit. Didn't get any response after filling out the form unfortunately.

Just to second, they say it is possible. We are about to apply. See text from their website:

Are you able to us the google cloud credits for google workspace just like azure  provides.

We help startups achieve their full potential by providing them grants from wherever we can . This initiative by google seems to be promising.
Please if any body is able to use the same do share the inputs.

It does not seem to have a direct route, I am trying it now to see how I can enable it too and will check back in here later to share.
