Cannot Change Google Workspace Account Location After Initial Setup

Hello,

I recently began setting up a Google Workspace account using a custom domain name, but I have not yet paid for a plan. During the initial setup, I selected the country I currently reside in as the account's location. However, I now realize I should have chosen the country where my business is registered.

The system does not allow me to change the location after it has been set. This prevents me from proceeding with paying for a plan because it requests a document number specific to the country I initially selected, which I do not have. Instead, I have the correct documentation for the country where my business is legally registered.

When I try to restart the setup process with the correct country, I encounter an error saying my domain name is already associated with an existing account.

How can I resolve this issue? Is there a way to either update the location for my existing account or release my domain to start the setup again with the correct location?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Hello, depending on how far you've progressed in the billing setup process, you might be able to make the necessary changes yourself. this doesnt work.

If i try to log into "admin" it only tries to force me to continue sign up of which i have yet to complete. (I have only got as far as a email address and it is trying to force UK as an option instead of Australia) There is no "back" button. so whats the next step?
