Change Google Workspace admin account

Hi,

I was wondering if it would be possible to change the admin account name / email adres of our Google Workspace account?

We already have a Google Workspace account, but this account needs to be changed to a new domain name. So we would like to change the domain name and admin email adres to our new domain name.

Would that be possible? Or is it better to create a new Google Workspace account?

Hello!

That's a easy one.

You can rename the user's name, surname and e-mail address whenever you want.

Just go to the user profile in admin console > Update user:

And just change the information that you want:

Check out all the various options for recovering admin access to your Google Workspace account at https://support.google.com/a/answer/33561?hl=en.

There are a number of options there including getting in touch with support as well as technical methods to prove to Google that you own your domain name and should be allowed to access the Workspace instance.
