Custom brand logo appears stretched in header for Drive/Gmail etc.

I have applied the right size 320x132, and it shows as the right size in Google admin. This has been going on for a long time now. Before it was good.

I use Google Chrome browser.

I too have this problem and want to know why.  Two of my users can see our logo perfectly, but I cannot.  It is stretched.  It is EXACTLY 320 x 132 pixels.

We have exactly the same issue in our workspace as well.  How can we raise this issue to the proper support channels?  Currently, it feels like apathy and indifference on Google's part.

See https://support.google.com/a/answer/1047213 for how to contact Workspace support. But before you do, I'd eliminate the possibility of it being a browser issue. Does it still happen in a different browser (like Edge or Safari or Firefox instead of Chrome)? Does it still happen if you clear cache and cookies, and disable plugins?

We have the same issue. The logo (exactly 320 x 132 pixels) looks fine in Admin but is horizontally stretched in the upper right corner of Gmail, but not in other apps like Contacts, and Drive.

We use the latest Chrome. I did try Gmail in another browser (Safari) and saw the same issue.

This has been happening for several weeks now, but was fine when we first started using the custom logo.

I also had this issue until I noticed that the image being uploaded can't have a transparent background. Which is strange because most users would choose a PNG file type to keep the desired resolution without an unnecessary background.

SOLUTION: Simply use a colored background of your choice until Google fixes the issue. Start with the 320 x 132 image size and place a background with your logo in front. This solution has worked for me and after a couple days of trial and error seems to be the only workaround.

This also worked for me. I re-saved the PNG without alpha, and that worked.

A GIF with alpha also worked. I guess just a png with transparency is what causes the issue.

I changed the dimensions to 640x132, and that worked for me.

Changing the dimensions to 640x132 didn't work for me. It squished it horizontally.
