Disconnecting a Google Cloud project from Google Workspace

Quite possibly this question needs to go on the Google Cloud community forums, but as it primarily applies to Google Workspace, I'll ask here first:

My company has several Google Cloud projects associated with their Google Workspace account.  Is it possible to disconnect the project(s) from the Google Workspace environment and have them run separately/under different Google Accounts?

Hi Jay,

Many thanks for your reply.  We need to move the project to a non-Google Workspace account, which from what I've since found out requires that we contact Google Support.
