Domain and DNS

Hi I recently bought a domain from google and I would like to link it to my webpage I built how is this done?  How do I register the domain with google?

It depends on your web hosting. Some times you just need to add your hosting IP to the A records. or you may need to change your name server. You should change the CNAME for Google's new sites.

I changed to cname on dns settings by following prompts but still not working. Im not getting any errors on the dns page. Any trouble shooting tips?

If you created a website via a new Google site, It is okay. Update your custom URL.

Google workspace admin console - Apps - Google Site and find custom URL section.

I made those changes to dns sittings, still getting a invalid DNS error will it be because of the propagation period?

What is your intention? Why do you want to forward your site to another site?.

Google site hosting took only two minutes of work.

I want to set the custom domain. Then precede with further development work
on the website.

I reset all the settings and reconfigured them but still it returns a dns
error. I can think of anything that is causing this.
