Drive - Files Owned by External Users

 Is it possible to Enable a search option in Drive to find files owned by users outside the organization in your folders easily?

Hi @michaelcrim 

That's not something Drive is able to do. You can search for files not owned by you, but that would include all internal and external users.

We have a product, Patronum (https://www.patronum.io), that could search and display files of external users only.

I would be interested in why you're interested in seeing this information, as people are mainly interested in internal files that are shared externally and not the other way round.

Thanks for the response, Paul. I am transferring filing from MY DRIVE to SHARED DRIVE and there is an error that I keep encountering, which states "files can't be moved because they belong to organizations that don't allow it."  So, I am hoping to find a way to locate those files

Hi @michaelcrim @paul_lees, Actually, it is very simple, but we usually not using some of the basic features in front of us. I have learned this when I needed it so much too. By the way, Patronum looks cool.
