I am experiencing issues using the "External users" option in the "People" dropdown filter at the top of the Drive page. Presumably, this should return items that are currently shared with one or more external entities. When I select this option, however, I am returning some files and folders within the results that give no indication of being shared with any external users. I have opened a case with Google Workspace Support (case # 50098812), but they have been either unwilling or unable to provide assistance, other than confirming that the example files and folders that I have provided are not currently shared externally.
I'd appreciate any guidance or commitment to fixing this behavior, as it is preventing my organization from reliably performing an external access audit of our Google Drive content. Thanks in advance!
