Enquiry about the feature of Appscript

I would like to check about the features of appscripts. If an app script code made by a developer A, and shared it to a user B within the organization to access the file, Is there a way to protect the appscript code for not being seen user B ?

As of what i have seen when developer deploys it user can use it as an extension and can use it but will never get exposed to the code
