GCDS provision groups with external addresses

Hi,

I was happy when I found GCDS 😉 I used it to create mailing lists out of our internal LDAP directory where we store our member lists. In these lists we have internal and external e-mail addresses.

Since half a year I'm unable to sync external addresses. F.ex. addresses like john.doe@gmail.com are converted to john.doe@ourgsuitedomain.com which is not a desired behavior as it generated invalid internal addresses.

So, my questions are:
- How can I change settings in groups or parameterize gcds otherwise that external addresses are allowed to be sync'ed ?
or

Is this an intentional behavior ?
