Gain access to Google Admin after years of inactivity

Hello all,

Recently my corporate mail (which I was using Google Workspace) has been suspended. (probably for free period that has been ended.
So, my mail (PII removed by staff) is not accessible.

Also, since there are more than 5 years since I have created this mail I can not gain admin access.

I have tried to reset my admin password with no luck.

I have proved that I own the domain livingspace.gr and requested to get admin access for (PII removed by staff)

Google says that it needs 72 hours to gain admin access. 72 hours has passed but with no luck and still I can not access admin console.

Also I have no access to (PII removed by staff) in case I need to do any actions from Google.

Is there any way to regain access to my admin console?

Have you tried these forms? according to your scenario, i think #3 would be the best.

Just check which one suits your issue and please follow it

None of the mentioned solutions worked for me.

I proved that domain is mine by uploading TXT dns record.

If I choose that I am a super admin with no access to the console, I follow
the instructions, I wait 24 hours and then google gives me an answer that
there are active admins and I need to contact them. There aren't. It is
just me with no access since it has been more than 10 years since I have
last logged in the admin console.

If I choose that I am a user with no ability to contact the admin it asks
to provide an email address of that domain as a user. I have one but it is
suspended. Although I did try and mention that this user will gain admin
rights after 72 hours.
72 hours have passed with no admin rights enabled. Also I do not have
access to that mail (since it is suspended) in order to see if I have to
agree on something.

Do you have any data in the old one?

Yes, I have an email address <PII removed by staff> which I was using with
google workspace services and now it is suspended. I have no access.
I have Lot of mail and attachments that I need.

That is why I want to access the admin console in order to arrange payment
and gain access to my mail again.

If you don't have anything important in ir why don't you just free up your domain using the 3rd link and signup to new Google workspace account using it.

I tried resetting my google workspace with no luck. I get a message that
active admins are available and that I have to contact them.

I am saying that (PII Removed by Staff) is not able to log in the admin
console and Google says to me to contact (PII Removed by Staff) admin to
solve the problem!!!! I am confused.

So, I am proving that domain is mine but let me do nothing. I can not even
delete my account and start from scratch.

I don't know what's going on but usually if you choose 3rd link I shared and then if you choose 'I don't want any data' option you will be able and should be able to get it removed from the other account.

And will be able to signup from a new account.

Please DM me if you would like to connect on a Google meet.

It becomes ridiculous!!! I am the only admin of the domain and google keeps sending the following answer. I do reply asking for more details or actions and there is no answer.

Hello,

We are contacting to inform you that there are active admins in your Google Workspace account vsagencies.com.

An administrator in your domain is able to assist you with your problem. Please contact an administrator within your domain and coordinate with them. If you don't know who your administrator is, please refer to Who is my administrator?

We will not proceed with any further action and will close this request.

The case will now close, please reply to this message if you have any questions or concerns.

Best regards,

Google Workspace Support

There is a problem with your story here.

An individual user account will not be disabled automatically because of inactivity. An admin must disable it manually, or if you have an automatic sync, that may do it. But as you describe there was only ever a single admin, you, that isn't likely.

Also, Google Support responding saying that there are other admins is exactly what they are seeing. That's regardless of what you think. Google can see whether there are users and admins in your domain, and they are telling you that there are other admins. This might be people you don't know, and they are the ones that have suspended your account.

I can see that you've gone through the domain recovery process at least 5 times, as those TXT records are still active. There should only ever be one such recovery record, and it should probably be removed after a successful recovery.

Now, the recovery process is mostly automated, so perhaps try to reach out to a real Googler on Twitter, through their official support account. https://twitter.com/AskWorkspace

Most people responding in this community are regular Workspace users, and not actually from Google, but that Twitter account is an official channel.

Since you are in control of the domain, they should be able to help you, and also let you talk to them and explain your situation.

I did manage to chat with a google workspace representative and after 2:30 hours she gave up. She forwarded the issue to the more advanced tech team department.
The account was created more than 10 years ago and google workspace was free. Now the account is suspended due to billing issues and I have no admin access, neither I was able to reset it.
Now I have to wait up to 72 hours for the workspace support team in order to resolve the issue.

Alright, do update on the progress.

If the account is not for business, you can get it converted to an account for personal use and free, but you must first get into the account as superadmin.
