Gemini with workspace extension not finding files

Hi everyone

I'm using gemini advance and I wanted to test out it's workspace extension feature to try and summarise a few documents for me. The problem is, it doesn't matter what I prompt it with, it always just searches through the same documents and never actually finds the ones I'm looking.

All I can think is that maybe the gemini extension doesn't give it access to all my files, but I've tried making the files I want shareable to all who have a link and I'm still not having any luck. It's as if gemini is ignoring my instructions on how to find the files I want it to use and is instead just grabbing the 1st ones it gets, processes through them and then runs into it's cap before it reaches my files. 

Anyone else struggling with this or ideally, does anyone have advice?

did this resolve your issue? I'm having a similar challenge where my gemini is unable to access URLs are references to files in queries.
