Hello everyone,
I'm facing an issue with my G Suite email after transferring my domain between AWS accounts. Here are the details:
1. Initial setup:
- Working G Suite email: <PII removed by staff>
- Domain (serverlesscreed.com) registered in Route 53 on AWS Account A
- Everything was functioning correctly
2. What I did:
- Transferred domain ownership to AWS Account B
- Deleted all existing DNS records (MX, TXT, etc.) associated with the domain
3. Current problem:
- My G Suite email (<PII removed by staff>) is no longer workingimage of my MX record I setup
I need help resolving this issue and getting my email back up and running. What steps should I take to reconfigure my domain and restore my G Suite email functionality?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
@vidit0210 checking whois I see these servers for your authoritative DNS
Name Server: NS-1118.AWSDNS-11.ORG
Name Server: NS-1966.AWSDNS-53.CO.UK
Name Server: NS-417.AWSDNS-52.COM
Name Server: NS-984.AWSDNS-59.NET
However, if I query those servers directly, I do not get any MX records returned. I would guess you have to do something in AWS Route 53 to publish a zone or that you have the wrong authoritative DNS servers.
