Hi.

 

I would like to know if there is  a way to disable the "All" folder on Gmail.

 

So, my question is casue, in my organization, we use imap on  Microsoft Outook for archive or auto-acrchive mails.

The "All" folder does not sincronize, but it  create a copy, and we have to empty the "All" folder from web browser.

Hello!

There isn't a way to deactivate this folder.

it's a default system folder.

 

You can try hiding the folder from IMAP.

 

1. Go to Gmail settings

2. Click the labels tab

3. Uncheck the "Show in IMAP " option for the "All mail" label. This should prevent Outlook to sync the label over IMAP connection.

This is the way.

Best solution is of course to stop using Gmail with third-party clients.
