Hello everyone,
As Super Administrator, I exported our GWS data to Google Cloud Storage.
Then, with gsutil -m cp -r, I was able to download all users in one shot (batch) in a Windows local directory (actually, an external hard drive).
However, 33 "Resource:" which contain shared drive on zip file didn't download.
Probably because Windows do not accept creating a folder name with character ":".
Apart of downloading individual corresponding zip file one by one, any thought about batch downloading Resource:?
Thanks,
Julien
Hello SatJulien
I have 8TB of data I need to download & Google Storage Transfer service is not working to Transfer In that data into a different Google Workspace Bucket where I have cloud storage, there is a "Meta Error" and I have 4 Cases open with Google for over a month going in circles - GW Support keeps pointing fingers at GCP and GCP keeps saying this is a workspace issue .
If you can provide any guidance on what command you used in Google SDK \ GSUtil to download your data to an external drive I will be eternally grateful!!!!!
Hello,
Hum, we're dealing here with Google Workspace for Nonprofits with
30GB/user.
If you have a Bucket ready (takeout-export) to transfer to an external
hardrive:
1- Install Google Cloud CLI (to have gsutil command)
2- Open cmd ou PowerShell (Terminal)
3- (example) gsutil -m cp -r
gs://takeout-export-89dcd8d8-0a24-4b45-b677-734fecc6cdd9/20231101T161242Z
"G:\GWS Backup 2023\4 novembre 2023"
where G: is the hard drive
