Google Drive Recent history with multiple accounts

I have an odd issue wondering if anyone has come across this or know a way to fix it.

I have a user with multiple email accounts which he separates via google tabs (email 1 tab with email and google drive open, email 2 with email and google drive open etc..). when he receives google documents via email he has no problem opening them and accessing the respected files. The issue is when the user goes to any of the accounts google drive page. Under priority and recent it shows all the documents and files the user has viewed, opened, edited, etc. from all the google accounts not the account the user is under at the moment.

The question is there a way to separate the activity based on the account the user is looking at the moment. its a bit frustrating if the user wants to go back and edit a specific file but has to search all the files that overlapped between the multiple accounts.

Hi @Alazar :

It's not a particularly helpful response, but in my experience, having multiple Google accounts signed in simultaneously in the same browser environment often does weird and funky things like you describe, and rarely works as well as one would hope. Personally, I find it works better to use some combination of separate browsers (e.g., Firefox for personal, Chrome for work), Chrome Profiles, and/or incognito windows when I need to be logged into multiple Google accounts at the same time. Maybe those techniques would also help here?

Hope that helps, at least a little,

Ian
