Google Drive for Desktop not allowing me to connect my account

All of a sudden Google Drive has stopped working.  App sends a message saying it cannot load my account.  Asks me to disconnect account and connect again.  Once I do, sends me to the web, validates if I am using an app downloaded directly from Google, I click on yes, then it tells me it's connected.  Then I go back to the desktop app, to the same message that my account cannot get loaded, I should disconnect, and connect again.

Have disconnected and connected many times.  Restarted my computer.  Downloaded the installation file from google again.  Uninstalled previous app.  Reinstalled the new app.  Restarted my computer several times. Gone throught the reconnection procedure again and again.  Restarted internet, restarted...everything.  Have tried over a different ISP. Nothing works.

@Nando Are you using Chrome as your Default Browser?  Can you clear history on the browser? -KAM

 

Thank you @KAM I actually cleared the Drive Desktop Caché and that did it.  

@Nando Yeah, I think they have a session cookie bug somewhere is my guess.  Glad it fixed your issue! -KAM
