I was thinking about optimizing work for sales team. Google sheets are quite powerful tool, but google forms in not enough for today.
Scenario:
A sales representative visits every client each day, let's say local grocery stores. He asks what client needs, which products he would like to order, then he types this info by his phone to a Google form / sites. At the same time, someone else at the office opens up the Google sheets and makes an invoice based on the order which came.
Right now we are using AsentBox by Else, but it's very old, and it wasn't updated since 2015, so it's quite difficult to even install on newest android. Pros of this app are the way it's easy to read and make an invoice for someone at the office.
I tried Google Forms and google sheets, but it lacks of many important features.
Google forms:
pros:
- no app is required to install
- link of each form can be shared only within domain, so it's should be safe
- layout and whole experience is much lighter and faster for sales rep
- email inbox is not overloaded by each order
cons:
- cannot import clients lists from Google sheets to google forms (and make to refresh after every change in google sheets)
- cannot import our product list from Google sheets with all data with it
- the way it's shown at Google sheets is not that readable to make easy and fast invoice

That's how it looks like. I just wonder, with all the apps and features Google Workspace has, I am certainly sure that there must be a way to make inside google environment.
