Google Group Membership Add problem

For my Google Group, I am unable to add a member, that is not in the membership list, but when I add, this error indicates the email is in the membership list, although it is not findable in the search function, "An error occurred 1 email address is the primary, secondary, or alternate address of an existing member (email)"

Group membership changes take more than 24 hours sometimes. Please check in 24 hours once if the user is there in the group. Hope that helps

The address you’re trying to own is probably an alias or an alternate address for one of the addresses that’s already on the list. If that’s so, Groups won’t let you add both.
