Google MDM and Apple Iphones

Hello:

I am new to my company. We use Google Workspace Business Plus. I am looking to see if or what services the google MDM can do with regards with Company owned Apple iPHONES.

I have the phone listed in Apple Business Manager, and I have configured it to my Google MDM server.

I have managed to get the phone into the Console, We are using google Device Policy App that is syncing, and I can wipe it From the admin Console. However upon reset, it still retains the Activation lock. Were Am I going wrong? or at what point is this breaking? Please appreciate I am trying to get this so the Company does not have to rely on the Users Apple ID and Password.

How or is there a way to push a policy so it turns off this feature

@FrindAdmin my experience with this is with JAMF not Google's MDM but using Apple Business Manager with an apple managed id was needed to own and manage the devices. From my notes, it requires a website to host a JSON file.  Maybe you can extrapolate that information.  -KAM
