Hello All..
First post in this forum so I hope I have the correct location.
I have a worksheet that is filled by a 3rd party cloud service. One of the fields is a "take photo" field where the user can take a picture and upload it. The relevant part here is that the picture is stored as a URL in Google Sheets, but the URL ultimately is pointing to the 3rd party cloud service. I can click on any of the URL links and the picture is rendered in another browser tab.
The issue is that I need to get these pictures from the 3rd party server and onto a Google storage account - preferably storing as another column in the same sheet. In other words, I need to have copy of the actual picture stored on my own workspace. There are a number of reasons I need to do this - one is if the 3rd party service fails I need to have the picture; there is also the issue of managing storage space (I have visibility to this on Google but not on the 3rd party service).
I would appreciate any suggestions on if this is possible, and how to go about it if it is.
Thanks,
RoryF
