I recently called Google Workspace support about setting up a Google Workspace Frontline account for my business. I was told by support I needed to contact sales. When I called sales, they said I needed to contact support ๐. I was later informed by sales that I could only purchase the plan through a reseller. It seems as if there is limited info on this plan.
Has anyone been successful in purchasing this plan?
Hi Edward,
We are a Google Partner and, depending on where you are located, we can provision the Frontline licenses that you need. The price is the same as directly with Google. The difference is that you would have better support...
If you are located anywhere in Europe, Middle East, Africa or South America we can help.
Thank you for the reply. Our company is located in the US. We would be interested in connecting with you to learn the process of setting the account up. We will only need one account at this time. Is it possible to convert a current account to the Frontline Edition plan? Please let me know the best way to contact you directly. Thanks.
HI Edward,
We do not work with customers from the US (only Europe, Middle East, Africa or South America) but we can give you some pro bono assistance ๐
I haven't checked the policies related to posting email addresses or external web addresses here so the best option is for you to check my profile and get in touch.
In any case, if you only have one user the Frontline edition won't probably be your best option. This edition is ideal for large accounts that have users that never use a computer and work on the go, from their phones and tablets, and want to save some money while also allowing those users to have a Google Workspace account and manage their device policies.
Honestly, for a single user you would be better served with a "normal" Google Workspace edition (Business Starter, Standard or Plus, or even Enterprise, depending on your storage needs).
I appreciate the feedback.
Is Google Workspace Frontline Edition available to nonprofit Google Workspace domains?
Hi Tho,
No. But if you have a Nonprofit you don't need the Frontline edition. You can use the regular Nonprofit licenses, which allow you to do more than the Frontline licenses, and are free.
