Google slides - opacity toggle for images and shapes not visible

A simple but frustrating issue - the option to change the opacity of images and shapes in Slides is a basic presentation feature, right? Then why can I not find it anywhere on Google Slides? Yes, I have looked under format options, fill colour options (can make completely transparent, not semi transparent), etc. 

Time to move back to Powerpoint unless this can be fixed 😞 

Any tips or similar experiences welcome!

@TPC1 the feature is there but a little hidden.  Try this: Right Click on the Image and click on Format Options->Adjustments->Opacity.  HTH -KAM
