Gsuite Legacy Upgrade Question

I have been using Google Gsuite for years and the change of heart by Google came as a surprise.

My GSuite account has three domains, one is personal-non-business and I want to continue using that for non-business purposes.

How can I upgrade the business user accounts and stay on the no-cost legacy G Suite for my personal account?

There is no option to upgrade some users in the account only. The upgrading is for whole account. 

You might remove business domains from the legacy account then register new Google Workspace. Personal domain kept in the G Suite legacy might choose to not upgrade.

@berto_o_ I believe you will need to A) accept the personal use license and B) buy another 1 or 2 workspace instances for the other domains.  You can look at https://support.google.com/workspacemigrate/answer/9222862?hl=en workspace migrate to move the data.
