How can I add basic license users to my business standard account. currently on gsuite not workspace

Hi @11 :

Workspace is the new name for G Suite as of October 2020–there isn’t a distinction between the two, it’s just a rebranding. See https://cloud.google.com/blog/products/workspace/introducing-google-workspace for all the details. 

As far as I know, all of the licenses for a given instance of Workspace need to be of the same type (Business Starter/Standard/Plus, or Enterprise). I seem to remember that many years ago it was possible to mix-and-match license types if you had a very large instance (like more than 2000-3000 users) and the reseller you purchased Workspace through set it up for you. I honestly have no idea whether that’s still true.

You'd have to check with an authorized rep of course, but the it's called Partial Domain Licensing, and it's actually become more flexible with the expansion of the Workspace plans (editions).
