How to Convert our Legacy account to a Non-Profit Workspace?

Our church currently has the "G Suite legacy" for up to 50 licenses but we got noticed it will be discontinued.  I saw that there is a Workspaces for Non-Profits but I was wondering if we convert to a regular Workspace first or keep the G Suite Legacy as it is until at some point during the application process.  I'm not sure what the workflow should look like and I don't want to make a mistake.

Hello!

The Google Workspace for non-profits has a qualification test before getting the licences.

I believe you need to apply for it as soon as possible, because the legacy  G-suite version will be descontinued.

If you guys pass the qualification, you  just have to change the licences to the non profit and the service will continue.

Remember that the non profit service has a free google workspace license with limitations and can have standard versions of google workspace with a discount:

I also manage an organization still on legacy.  I just got approved for non profit service.  We currently have staff using google voice.  Will that carry over?

Joining this topic because the original question is very similar to mine.

I'm digital inclusion lead for a charity that has a Workspace for Nonprofits account - but I'm not the admin person for that account.

However - I am the admin of two GSuite legacy accounts (used entirely for non-profit purposes) that I would like to transfer to the charity that employs me. That includes ownership of the domain names as well as the legacy accounts. After that, I hope we can upgrade them appropriately to Workspace for Nonprofits.

One of these legacy accounts - https://seniors.org.uk - provides supported personal email for our charity clients - most of them past retirement age, and few of them able to adapt to the changes implied by loss of their familiar email.

We use the other legacy account - https://bold.org.uk/ - to teach older and digitally-marginalised people how to use GSuite for employability purposes.

I'm sure Google would happy to upgrade both accounts to nonprofit status, but we don't know who to ask, or how - and we don't have much time remaining to do it. Should have done it earlier, but an age-related visual impairment got in the way.

Can anyone here advise us on what to do next?
