How to delete an admin

Hi,

My organization had an admin of https://admin.google.com/

No one else has admin rights except him.

He left the company and now not responding.

We are not using a paid version so we don't have support service included.

I would like to make someone else the admin now, infact a group of people.

Someone please help on this.

Thanks

Satyam Prakash

@uncle_sam  Here are a few forms, you can use any one of them according to your situation:

  1. General Issues: https://support.google.com/a/contact/recovery_form
  2. Sign in issues: https://toolbox.googleapps.com/apps/recovery/form

Signup issues: https://toolbox.googleapps.com/apps/recovery/domain_in_use

#1 is preferred from what i understand now.

Hi ajojose33333344,

Thanks for your valuable suggestion, but as soon as I choose option 1. it asks for recovery email, should I put mine or admin's email address there?

Also, the admin is not responding at all, and I don't have access to his mail at all.

@uncle_sam  at first for "What is your issue? * " choose the option "I cannot contact the administrator "

Then for "What account are you having issues with? *"  for this give the admin id to which you are having access issues.

For "Email address where we can contact you *" here you give your email and fill the other options with your details.

Check out all the various options for recovering admin access to your Google Workspace account at https://support.google.com/a/answer/33561?hl=en.

There are a number of options there including getting in touch with support as well as technical methods to prove to Google that you own your domain name and should be allowed to access the Workspace instance.

Hope that helps,

Ian
