How to remove 2FA.

If you've already changed the 2-step verification method, it's probably not 2SV you're being prompted for, but a sign-in challenge.

Be sure to:

  • remove any recovery phone numbers and email addresses of the former user
  • delete the account from any devices they're signed into'
  • reset sign-in cookies
  • generate and use backup codes to sign in via 2SV as necessary
  • bypass login challenges if you're still having problems signing in

You shouldn't need to... but if you really want to turn off 2SV (although I don't recommend it for obvious security reasons), you can create an allow group or move the user into an OU where 2SV is turned off.
