Impossible to log in

Problems with access to my Google Workspace eemail  account.

I can't login. I can't change my password. When I try to set up a new Google Workspace email address, I  see this  the error: this domain in use.  Can  Google free my domain name from their system so that I can restart to create a new account. This is my domain name. Google has no right to play with it or to keep it saying that it is in use.

It sounds like you are facing a frustrating issue with your Google Workspace account and domain management. There are a few steps you can take to resolve this :-

1. Domain Ownership Verification
2. Google Workspace Admin Account Recovery
3. Domain In Use Error
4. Contact Google Workspace Support
5. Request Domain Release

1. Domain Ownership Verification:   Verification was made before I created my email account
2. Google Workspace Admin Account Recovery: Impossible
3. Domain In Use Error: Yes
4. Contact Google Workspace Support: No response
5. Request Domain Release: How ?

@Diversityrights I agree completely with @sahilnaircool and recommend you start here: https://support.google.com/a/answer/33561?hl=en to see if you can gain access to the current installation. -KAM

Thank you for your time to respond.   Your solution not working.

@Diversityrights If you add some details about which methods you tried and what didn't work, that might help guide you.  This is just a group of fellow workspace administrators so all we can do is help you with ideas. -KAM

@Diversityrights What have you done based on this KB to try to regain administrator access?  For example, have you tried the CNAME option? https://support.google.com/a/answer/33561?hl=en  -KAM

Google should really  simply the use of  their Workspace features. Microsoft Outlook has no such problems of login, domain name verifications and domain name in use and account recovery problems.

Google is not playing with your domain. The most likely cause here is that at some time in the past someone signed up for Google Workspace or got a trial using your domain name. It could have been someone else in your organization or a previous registrant that owned the domain prior to you.

Despite the reason, Google does have a way for you to prove domain ownership and and regain the ability to sign up for Google Workspace. You can start the process by filling out the form in the Google Admin Toolbox located here, https://toolbox.googleapps.com/apps/recovery/domain_in_use.

Hello,
I am the only who set up the domain name. What I am saying again is that
outlook has no such many things to deal with.

Thank you.

Ernest

Please understand that setting up a Google Workspace environment to use a domain name you purchased is not the same thing as configuring the domain itself. The form I provided to you is for proving to Google that you own the domain name so they can release any Workspace tenant that may be tied to it, so that you can sign up for a new Google Workspace tenant.

Hi @Diversityrights,

If you're seeing 'Domain in use' error, when trying to sign up for a Google service, it might be because:

  • You recently removed this domain from another managed Google account. It can take 24 hours (or 7 days if you purchased your account from a reseller) before you can use the domain with a new account.
  • You or someone in your organization already created a managed Google account with your domain. Try resetting the administrator password and we’ll send an email to the secondary email you provided when you signed up, telling you how to access the account.
  • You’re using the domain with another managed Google account that you own. If so, remove the domain from the other account.

If none of these applies, the previous owner of your domain might have signed up for a Google service. Fill out this form and the Support team will get back to you within 48 hours.
