I have a Google Workspace and a Google Domains account. I recently created my small business website using Google Sites, connected to my Google Workspace account, and identified a custom URL that I would like to use. I have made my Google Site URL public and tried to publish it, along with routing it to my custom URL, but I keep getting "Invalid DNS" every time. I have been working with Google Chat Support for almost 2 full weeks now and keep getting nowhere with this. I understand that our domains have now migrated over to Squarespace (I got my welcome email already) and I had a Squarespace customer service rep inform me that they can't help me because Google continues to be the 'Host' of my website...... I am not sure that even matters at this point. But, I really need help getting my custom URL working and my website published/ public and searchable on the internet. Any help would be greatly appreciates!!!
Google Sites URL: https://sites.google.com/joyfuljourneync.com/jjcc-pllc?usp=sharing&fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR3X3UVx...
Custom URL: www.joyfuljourneync.com (when you search this, there is an error message stating website not found).
I was able to visit your long Google Sites URL, which means it is set to public and accessible. The custom URL brings up the 404 error from Google. So your DNS is correct. I would check your admin console > Apps > Google Workspace > Sites > Custom URL to see that the mapping was successful. You may want to try to delete it and re-add it.
